Recap
- Calla is gambling to get enough money to pay rent. She is using her magic to cheat.
- Ezra bets a red witch's die.
- Calla wins and tries to leave but Ezra stops her and accuses her of cheating. Ramor and Boone also try to stop her from leaving but she gets away.
- Ezra catches up to her and makes her take the Witch's Die.
- Calla has made 3/6 of her rolls.

- Calla has mismatched eyes that indicate she is a Siphon that she glamours to hide her identity.
- Calla suspects she is fated to be the 6th and final Blood Warrior.
- When Calla goes to pay rent, she gets kidnapped by Boone and Ramor who want their money back.
- Gideon sends Caspian and Kestral into the Neverending Forest with a compass that is enchanted to help them get from one side to the other.
- Boone and Ramor are planning to sell Calla at an auction
- Myria has put a bounty on Calla's head to bring her back to the witch realms.
- Gideon manages to get Calla away from the auction and tells her about his plan to erase his rolls.

- Gideon offers Calla to participate in the spell also.
- Once the last Blood Warrior has been chosen, the war begins immediately.
- Kestral and Gideon are exes. They are forbidden from being together because of their ranks.
- Calla, Gideon, and Ezra head to Calla's apartment to let her roommates know what's going on. They find 3 fae have the roommates held hostage. Calla is outed as a Siphon.
- Calla uses her Siphon magic to escape the fae with Hannah and Delphine in town.
- Delphine is immune to the Forest's glamours.
- Hannah is in love with Delphine.
- Ezra faked his 6th roll.
- Everyone is in the Forest now and crazy shit starts happening. It is the Forest's way of trapping them.
- They finally find the Valkyrie and the Valkyrie says she will give them the feather they need if Gideon brings her his heart.
- Ezra is jealous of Calla and Gideon's connection - there is a love triangle happening.
- The Heartbreak Prince dies when he loses his heart - I.e. falls in love.
- Sirens find Delphine and take her with them back to the Siren Seas.
- Hannah is a necromancer.
- Calla and Gideon set off to find the Witch Eater in the middle of the night. Everyone else realizes they are gone and Ezra ends up punching Kestral. Kestral then leaves the group.
- The Witch Eater tells Calla and Gideon that Ezra is the Heartbreak Prince and Gideon wants the Witch Eater to transfer the curse to him after the rolls are erased. The spell does not work right, turns out, Gideon was always the Heartbreak Prince. Calla is the last fated Blood Warrior. Calla and Gideon now bear their own and each other's curses.
- The rolls were not removed.
- Gideon and Calla are now soul-bonded.
- The Valkyrie came early and ended up taking Ezra's heart instead of Gideon's.
- Kestral snitches Calla's location to the Queen.
